My
work is always a reflection of my current state of mind, which
changes from time to time, but some central themes are
- reconciling
the imagined world with the tangible
- the
feeling of needing, in no particular order, connection, isolation,
involvement and/or sanctuary
- rationality
versus irrationality
- the
asthetic of text, letters, words and handwriting.
I like
to work with and on paper, mostly, but my pieces are exhibited
as installations, such as the "Series:Home" series.The
pieces from this series were shown as threaded cards emerging
from a distorted world map. The "PLEASE ENTER A FOOL'S PARADISE"
piece now exists as a bound book, but it was originally shown
as 200 seperate pages displayed in sequence on a wall.
